The Marina Barrage Singapore

Marina Barrage is a place tat i really like it alot.... the structure, the landscape, the views, everything.....! it is a new place anyway... even most of the taxi drivers also dunno the direction of the place... when i stepped in the place... there is one word tat i always say.. Whoaaaa!! haha... really nice la... somemore the wind come from the sea can let ppl feel more relaxing and comfortable... if u go to Singapore... u must go to Marina Barrage to hav a look.... really!

ok... here... share with u some info about the Marina Barrage:

The Marina Barrage is a dam in Singapore built across the Marina Channel between the reclaimed lands of Marina East and Marina South. It was officially opened on 1st of Nov 2008. The S$226 million project turns Marina Bay and Kallang Basin into a new downtown ffresh waterMarina Reservoir. It provides 3 in 1 benefits - water supply, flood control and a new lifestyle attraction. This structure will provide flood control by changing the tide flow into the barrage.

The Barrage consists of nine crest gates which block out the tides Each is 28 meters tall. Several large capacity low head propeller pumps are installed in the barrage capable of pumping out excess water from the man made reservoir.Each Pump has a capacity of 40m3/s. This would translate into about the volume of an Olympics-size swimming pool per minute.

once again.... walked around at Orchard Road.... actually with the main purpose---> bookstore... Kinokuniya... there are so many books inside... from there i bought some archi magazine and a book.... =D the books sell here hardly can b found at malaysia... i think... hehe...

the tuesday

today went to Ang Mo Kio alone while waiting for my sis to off from her work... so..? doing wat there? just walked around in the shopping centre lo... at the end go for a movie to spend the time...

yea... tis is wat i watched... the day the earth stood still... i can only say the movie is not so nice... especially the ending... it's just ended by the sentence "The decision rests with you." by Keanu Reeves. Then enters the spaceship and departs. then... the movie comes to the end.... sadly the story din tell us about wat happened next to the earth... how they solve the problem... is stil a question mark.... hm....but but but.... Klaatu--> Keanu Reeves is sooo good looking....!! hoho!!

after that me n my sis met there then going to Bugis together... wat else wor..? of coz shopping again....! =P

the first two days in Singapore

singapore.... here i m ... !! hehe... we r having siblings gathering here.. =P reached sin on last saturday afternoon with my bro together... spent two days in orchard road... as usual... archard road is always nice decorated...

hoho... tell u wat... i went to Queensbay again... just for window shopping and watch movie... =P of coz not alone lo.. with jeh tat and stewart ... haha... oh ya, guess wat... i saw linda chung (zhong ka yan) .. wat a coincidence..! i knew her through tv series... she came here to promote her new released album... =D i m not her big fan la actually... she is pretty... really... people mountain people sea

we had watched BOLT the disney 3D cartoon... only 1 word can describe about the movie.... 'cute' =D

outing also... next stop--> Gurney Plaza

gurney was crowded with people too... somemore there was a bridal show by France Taipei and Blissful Bridal Studio.... too bad i forgot to bring along my camera.. so .. i had searched some pics about the bridal show tru internet to share with u all... (but only found blissful bridal studio de..)

the model is so pretty... if not mistaken she is malaysia's actress... by the way she is not chinese..

i like tis model... she is so yeng and pretty... dun u feel so? =D

France Taipei Bridal Studio's wedding gowns really nice... but i fail to find the photos ... sorry.... =P

at the same time... tavia yeung ( yeung yi) the pretty hong kong actress also came to gurney... and i saw one more star today... =D she makes her appearance in gurney plaza to promote H2O products.. no need to say... the space was crowded with so many people and the handphones, cameras were non stop shooting tavia's photos...

it's worth to hav a walk at gurney today... =

haih.. today went to gurney again... not to meet any stars today la... just go redbox with my colleages... coz i m going to leave the firm on coming fri... so ... today... spend some time with them...
